Montana McIntyre

Montana McIntyre is a highly skilled educator and program leader with extensive experience in teaching and youth development. She has taught in both the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District (SMMUSD) and the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), bringing a wealth of knowledge from diverse educational settings. Having attended K-12 in the Beverly Hills Unified School District (BHUSD), Montana has deep roots in the Los Angeles area and a strong understanding of the needs and experiences of local students.

Currently a candidate for National Board Certification, Montana is committed to professional excellence and continuous growth. She holds a BA in Integrated Educational Studies from Chapman University, with a minor in Nonprofit Organizations, and a Master’s in Elementary Education. Her teaching experience spans multiple elementary grade levels, providing her with a broad perspective on effective instructional strategies and student engagement.

With over a decade of leadership experience, Montana has worked with the City of Beverly Hills and served as Program Director for the Catskills West Theater Arts Summer Program for the past five summers. Her dynamic leadership fosters confidence, creativity, and teamwork in students while consistently delivering high-quality productions and enriching educational experiences.

As a teacher at Canyon Charter Elementary, Montana is dedicated to creating inclusive, supportive environments that empower students to excel academically and personally. Her passion for education and the arts, combined with her high professional standards, inspires students, families, and colleagues, making a lasting impact on the communities she serves.

Zachary Kemper is an experienced youth theater professional with over a decade of dedication to fostering creativity and collaboration in young performers. His journey began as a member of Escape Theatre in Santa Clarita, where he now serves as Co-Director and Acting Coach, guiding the next generation of talent with his expertise and passion for the performing arts.

A graduate of the University of California, Irvine, Zachary earned a BA in Sociology with a focus on programs for community building, which informs his inclusive and supportive approach to theater education. He spent five years as Drama Specialist at the Catskills West Theater Arts Summer Program, where he played a pivotal role in helping students build confidence, develop their craft, and embrace their individuality through the performing arts.

With a strong background in after-school programs and a deep passion for children’s theater, Zachary excels at creating dynamic and engaging environments that inspire students to express themselves and collaborate effectively. His commitment to excellence is reflected in the high-quality productions he directs, ensuring a meaningful and memorable experience for both performers and audiences. Zachary’s dedication to empowering young people through theater continues to make a profound impact.

Presley Roy 

Music Director

Cristina Santos 

Counselor and Administrative Assistant 

Presley is thrilled to join the CORE Theatre this season and bring her passion for performance to this inspiring group! A proud graduate of the University of Southern Indiana, Presley has spent the last nine years pursuing her artistic dreams in Los Angeles, working in theatre, film, and television.

 

Her experience spans an impressive range of roles, including directing, stage management, and costume design, but her heart and unwavering dedication lie in the art of performance.

During the summer, Presley channels her creativity as part of the Catskills team, where she fosters a love of storytelling and imagination. When she’s not performing, she works as an assistant teacher for an after-school theatre program in Santa Monica called CATS! As a delightful twist, her favorite musical happens to be CATS, making her journey feel like pure kismet.

Presley is deeply passionate about sharing her knowledge and love for the arts, and she looks forward to growing, collaborating, and creating meaningful connections with this talented and dedicated ensemble!

Cristina is a dedicated instructional aide at Canyon Charter School, where she brings her passion for education and her vibrant energy to the classroom every day. With three years of experience working in school settings across Santa Monica and the Palisades, Cristina has honed her skills in supporting students' academic and personal growth.

 

She is a proud graduate of Brown University, where her love for learning and storytelling was cultivated and continues to drive her work with children.

During the summer, Cristina extends her talents to Catskills, where she serves as a camp counselor, creating opportunities for children to explore their creativity, build friendships, and grow in confidence. Her time at Catskills reflects her enthusiasm for fostering joyful, meaningful experiences that leave a lasting impact.

Cristina’s aspirations of becoming an elementary school librarian are rooted in her belief in the transformative power of books and reading. She dreams of creating a warm, inclusive space where students can discover new worlds, fuel their imaginations, and develop a lifelong love of learning. Cristina is excited to continue making a difference in the lives of students and helping them reach their fullest potential.
